I joined Pure Med Spa and the lady told me before enrolling. oh honey we have centers all over USA. I inquired from them that do have centers in VA, MD or Washington DC as these places are nearby and I can continue my treatment. I am on temporary assignment in chicago. They said we do have one is washington dc.They kept calling me and I enrolled myself and paid full fees When i returned to VA and I could not trace their center and they don't refund my money.

I just moved to DC! I had been a client in GA, and they also told me they'd have a place in McLean, VA. Turns out that only have teeth whitening right now. Something about Pure Med went bankrupt and now it's BriteSmile/BriteSkin or something. They were wonderful in GA, though. They've told me I can start up my treatments in VA soon. The new website with all the locations is www.britesmile.com.

I have mixed reviews for Pure Med Spa but for the most part I am happy. Their nurse is extremely cautious and very friendly. They do their best to give me the best price and really do accomodate clients who have been there for a long time & who have purchased a lot of treatments. :grin

Ok so for those of you who don't know this is a horrible company. This company has gone by many names... It's 1st name was Nuvo International. This company burned and damaged many peoples skin. They then took money form people for faulty services. On top of all that they then went BANKRUPT. There doors could not be officially closed because they were in mall settings. Leaving many employees that had no idea as to what was really going on to endear the fury of the VERY upset clients.

Bankruptcy takes it's course and a new company takes over as the owner of Nuvo International. This company was Acara Partners. Then changing the name to Lumity Med Spa. Wow what a mouth full! This company tried there best for a several months to pull this company out of the gutter. But alas they failed too. This company was just in to much of debt and had an abundance of unhappy customer. They then realized the bit off more than they could chew. Deciding to sell Nuvo - Lumity - something Med Spa.

The then new and now current owners are Pure Laser hence the new name Pure Med Spa. This company is a sinking ship and they are running out of people willing to bail them out. There current owner Jeff Nurse I believe it is? He is only out for the money. They illegally bring Botox and Restylane from Canada where there corporate office is. And let me just remind you Canada has different regulations for there Botox and Restylane than the USA. For anyone who dares to waste there money with this company and risk there health I wish you the best of luck! Don't let them full you by making you think they have a medical financing company to help you out with the cost. This is Care Credit a product of GE Money. That should answer your question if not just look up the complaints on them. I hope for people in the future that are looking into acquiring services from this company. They would be smart enough to look into the past and presence of this company. I am sure you will find several description of there horrible service, faulty equipment, along with doctors and nurses who want good money with little or no work. And a huge disregard to there license and the practice of medicine.

PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!

Pure Med Spa rip customers off! They sold me a treatment that they had already known that it is not going to work for my type of skin. Just before the treatment one responsible nurse told me that the machine could burn my skin because my skin is dark. I asked for refund and they kept me waiting for 10 months and then eventually told me their "no-refund" policy. Even though they know the mechine will burn my skin, the regional manager still insist to treatment me but refund any money. I am filing a lawsuit now.

I have read all of your comments and i agree that out of all the locations, you can most deffinitley have some upset clients.

On the other hand, that would leave about.. ohhh i dont know, 99% HAPPY CUSTOMERS!!!??!!!

I am a customer at pure med spa and i actually recommend Pure to ANYONE. I drive an hour JUST to come to Pure Med Spa. There are lots of places in my town, but NONE compare.

Seriously, I dont know about you all, but i have had LHR, Botox, Juvederm and my family has had treatments aswell. Our results have been fabulous, the staff there is exceptional, and i have not heard anything negative about the location i go to [In Temecula,ca]. I even went to another location with a friend of mine, just to see how the service was there, and they too were awesome!!!!!!

Thanks!

I agree, I think the customer service at Pure Med Spa is awful. I liked one of the laser technicians, but other than that, I've had a terrible experience. The girls at the front desk are almost always rude and extremely unhelpful, I pre-paid for a laser package to treat acne, and the laser broke just when I was starting to get results. They put me on a "waiting list" which I've been on for over two months now. Needless to say, my acne is back, even though I've (pre)paid thousands of dollars not to have acne. After reading other experiences, it looks like I shouldn't even bother trying to get my money back, so I just have to keep waiting for them to fix the laser. Had I not pre-paid, I would never, ever return to Pure Med, and I strongly encourage others not to waste their time and/or money.

I love Pure Med Spa and have had the most wonderful experience at their location in Santa Ana, CA. Not only were the treatments excellent, but the staff was so accommodating. The nurses along with the other employees were always honest in regards to any concern or question i had, and i didn't feel like i was being sold. My results so far have been outstanding and their technology is fabulous! From my experience, I would definitely suggest Pure Med Spa to any friend!! :grin

I paid $6000k for a package called '10 years in 10 weeks'. I'm not wealthy and this was done after considerable discussion with my husband. It was to be a gift for 15 years of working full time and being a mom. I had 2 treatments before a friend of mine was burned on the tip of her nose by the lasor and then they stopped all lasor treatments for several months. When I asked for a refund because I was worried about being burned and because after 3-4 months of them not getting back to me with an answer as to when they would be able to provide the service I paid for I decided to go a different direction. As a remedy I was told that all they could do is ALLOW me to give my package to someone else and that person could pay me for it. A ridiculous option. Why would I sell their package to someone else when I do not believe it to be safe or effective?? I'm going to sue in small claims court and hopefully get a full refund. I suggest everyone who has had a bad experience and not being given a refund do the same.
